My name is Deborah Carr.  I've completed four novels, three contemporary romances and one saga. I'm working on the third of my romances, and as soon as I'm happy with it, I'll allow myself to start writing my second saga, as it's constantly in my head, and I need to get it out of there and onto the page where it belongs.

I'm lucky enough to be a member of the excellent and supportive Romantic Novelists Association and Novel Racers, and spend most of my writing time in a shed filled with an inspiring mixture of eclectic odds and ends collected over the years, and watched over by a very grumpy Miniature Schnauzer.

I believe that the best way to learn the art of writing is to place bum on chair, fingers on keyboard, and get on with it. 

I write because I can't imagine not doing so.
